I believe that life is too short to be spent waiting for the stars to align before taking action. This is especially true for the scarier, bigger, more challenging things in life. I would rather give things a try, and be wrong, than be paralyzed by the fear of failure at the starting gates. As such, I have pushed myself into as many different life experiences as possible to discover my inner boundaries. My journey is far from over and I look forward to the next challenge over the next hill. Carpe diem!

• Volunteered as a Big Brother for 3 years
• Hiked the West Coast Trail twice
• Bungee jumped and skydived
• Rescue Diver certification from PADI
• Triathlon coaching certification from NCCP
• Have a motorcycle license
• Competed in Ironman Canada, Singapore Half Iron, Vancouver Marathon amongst many other races
• Cycled across Canada; from Vancouver Island to Newfoundland
